Well I thought this was going to be my last post as a Motivating Mum but I am back in again August. I love being a MM and am excited to continue on my journey with you all.
It’s my birthday next week and I am turning 28. I’m looking forward to having a night out, having a great time and still being healthy. I am buying new clothes so I am excited as I can now fit into “normal” clothes.
I have been inspired this week by Motivating Mums Eleanor and Kat who are both motivating mums who are not currently weighing themselves. It’s going to be hard but I am not going to weigh myself for the whole month of August. I think sometimes we worry about the numbers on the scales, so I am putting them away and focus more on my exercise and fitness.
This week, I have been having breakfast from the 28 day plan. I still have a Healthy Mummy smoothie daily and I am loving the food on the 28 day plan too. My favourite Is banana, ricotta and honey on soy linseed toast. I also enjoy the omelette and boiled eggs. I love eggs, so healthy, filling and packed with lots of protein.
I also love the snacks from the Healthy Calorie Bible – yummy!
I still have a Healthy Mummy smoothie for lunch, and love a green smoothie, with spinach and banana. One of my goals for the month is to try different smoothies for lunch each day. On the weekend we made oat bran muffins with raspberries, great for afternoon tea before we go for a walk.
It’s started to warm up so we’ve been having some of the yummy dinners from the 28 day plan, like Chicken Marinated Salad and Steak and Salad. Every week I try a new recipe from the Lose Baby Weight website and will keep that going though August.
My goals for August is to try new Healthy Mummy smoothies for lunch and try some dinners from the Lose Baby Website.
I am going to keep up with my walking and will focus on my fitness and not my numbers.

At the end of July I have lost 20 kilos
I was 73 kgs now 54 kgs in 20 weeks
