This month we have been motivated by the story of Motivating Mum Nicole Daniels. You can read some of her previous posts here and here.
Nicole has lost 16 kilograms with the Lose Baby Weight plans and we hope that you find her story motivates you on your own weight loss journey.
‘Well this week has been hard and I also learnt some things.
I have been sick all week with a cold 🙁
So I haven’t been able to do any exercises from the 28 Day Plan or my workout with weights and a chair.
I was quite disappointed that I couldn’t exercise, but I know that it is the best thing for me to have a bit of a rest and not push myself too hard.
We still went for a walk everyday and I did my squats and I was still active during the day.
I still had my yummy Healthy Mummy Smoothies for breakfast and lunch and I am loving blueberries and chia seeds.
Every day I have a different smoothie for lunch and love trying all the smoothie recipes that the other Motivating Mums post.
This week for dinner we had chicken and steamed veggies from the 28 Day Plan.
We also had 3 vegetarian meals of soup, chilli and the veggie lasagna from the Lose Baby Weight website – it was so yummy.
I made banana bread which my family love but I am looking forward to making something new next weekend.
And I am still trying new foods. I had never had hommus before, but it’s so nice and makes for a great snack with some celery.
This week was the lowest weight loss I have had so far but I had a LOSS and I think it’s great that it was through mainly healthy eating and not much exercise.
My Results
- Weight loss: down 0.5 grams
- Bust the same
- Waist down 1cm
- Hips down 1cm
I am hoping to be better next week and get stuck back into my exercises.
Remember that eating healthy does make a difference and don’t beat yourself up if you miss a day of exercise or if you only do 15 minutes a day.
