Motivating Mum Kat who has lost over 11kg with Lose Baby Weight has shared her tips and advice for losing your baby weight  HEREHEREHERE and HERE. Today she shares her advice for staying on track when life gets busy.
My usual exercise routine has been put out of whack at the moment with having a few special events coming up, my baby girl is turning 5 and things needing to be prepared for her birthday and her party.  My 7 month old has also changed his daily routine which always shakes things up.
With all of this going on, I have been extra creative with squeezing my exercise in and being very aware of my incidental exercise (like mowing!). I’ve also been doing at least four or five, 10 minute bursts a day of either squats, lunges, dancing, sit ups- whatever I think of. This has been fine for the short term, but I will be working on changing things soon. I have been continuing with the 28 day plan but as most mums know life definitely gets busy!
chickenMy favourite meal this week has been chicken with steamed veggies– YUM! I have definitely been tested as there has been lots of “naughty” food in the house to bake cakes and make party food. I am VERY proud of myself for not eating any of the chocolate (this is coming from a BIG choc-a-holic!) and that just shows me how far I have come mentally and how much I have learned from Lose Baby Weight.
I have been trying a few different recipes off the web site for tea and the whole family really enjoyed the classic meatballs and I really enjoyed the yellow vegetable curry. I am still enjoying my Healthy Mummy smoothies for breakfast and I love trying a new smoothie each day for lunch.lose_baby_weight
I have been seeing everyone’s weigh in results and I am already dying to see if I have lost any weight- only 12 weeks to go!
I have taken my measurements and they are-
Bust:89cm no change
Waist:73cm down 1cm
Hips:89cm no change
Thighs:58cm down 0.5cm
I have set myself a new goal of being creative with my exercise as it is getting hard to fit it into the day so I will be trying some new things out.
I have also decided to challenge myself more with what exercises I do as I have found I am getting fitter a lot quicker than I anticipated and have fallen into a “comfort zone” of sticking to the same exercises and number of repetitions.
I also wanted to say a big thank you to all the other mums out there who post their stories, you all help to keep me positive and believing that I CAN  DO IT!
