I just thought I’d share this smoothie recipe that I came up with, based on one of my favourite winter desserts. I hope you like it as much as I do.’
For those of you that may not have heard of Pandowdy, it is an old fashioned dessert, similar to a spiced fruit pie. Yum!
Elna Rosiana has sent in this terrific recipe which is high in protein and low in fat.
Elna says ‘I have it for breakfast and it fills me up way until past lunch time.
I call this my Super Charged Smoothie as the banana is high in potassium, walnuts are high in good fats, and the wheat biscuit is high in fibre.’
The GREAT thing about the Healthy Mummy Smoothie is that they are so quick and easy to make and that they taste great.
