This month we continue to be motivated by the weight loss journey of Motivating Mum Nicole Daniels who has now lost 20kg on our plans. You can read some of her previous posts here and here.

‘Hi everyone,
Well this week I found it easier not to weigh myself, even though I am dying to see how much weight I have lost. I just have to wait until the end of the month.
lose_baby_weightThis week I have upped my exercise and repetitions and have been pushing myself a lot harder as my fitness has improved.
I didn’t realize how much fitter I had gotten till I was doing my skipping and when I was near on finishing I just kept going.
I look back when I first started my journey and I can really see how far I have come. I know I have further to go but I know that I can do it.

We went for a walk everyday and I even went for a walk by myself which I have never done. It was great even though I felt weird not pushing a pram.
At the start of the week I went out and finally got new workout clothes. It makes such a difference when you look in the mirror and see yourself in clothes that fit you.
I think that was what has made me push myself. I just need to get new trainers now.
On the weekend we baked the chocolate and date slice and banana bread. I make the bread nearly every week as it’s so easy and healthy. The kids and especially my husband love it.
I’m not much of a baker but every weekend I bake one or two healthy snacks. It’s great fun and my daughter loves to help. just hate the mess in the kitchen but it is so worth it.

I finally got some fresh blueberries and also fresh strawberries, so I have been having them in my smoothies. I like the Banana and Blueberry Booster and the strawberry with spinach or banana.
I love all the breakfasts from the 28 Day Plan and all the yummy dinners and snacks.
This week we had the yummy steak and pear salad, as well as grilled chicken and green veggies.
We also tried meatballs, and marinated chicken salad (but instead of chicken I boiled some eggs in the morning and used them instead) for a yummy quick and healthy vegetarian meal. We have at least 2 vegetarian meals each week.

I have also been having a couple of snacks from the Calorie Bible. I love the boiled egg on Ryvita.
I see all the Lose Baby Weight recipes as healthy everyday food that I can enjoy and eat.
They not only taste great but more importantly they are healthy food for my family. This is not just for now, but for the rest of my life.
I haven’t been doing my measurements either so I will be waiting till the end of the month to do those.
