And in March our Motivating Mum of the Month and taking up the challenge to motivate you was Linda Hallas.
Linda has already done an incredible job on our weight loss plans and planned to reach her target weight by the end of March – and if you read below you will see that she did it!!
She lost lost 1.7kg this week and 13cms over my body which brought the total loss for March to 7.8kg lost since she started in October to 32.5kg!! AMAZING!!

Linda’s 5th and final week diary & results

The last week of March had its challenges – we literally finished March on the biggest chocolate holiday of the year! Temptation everywhere! We are strong and must stay focused.
I am lucky enough to be unable to eat dairy as the baby I am breast feeding is allergic and this makes it easy to say NO! No one argues when they know the baby has an allergy but I have found that if people know you are ‘dieting’ they can be pushy with food you would rather not eat.
The one thing I have learnt well from Lose baby weight is that this is not a cliché diet, THIS IS A LIFE STYLE CHANGE! I am in this forever!
I could not be happier with how far I have come from 8 months ago when I was about to give birth to my 3rd child and weighing 122kgs – since then it is more than 44kgs gone! I reflect and realise I was in an ever growing state, I felt like it was easier to never diet again and I even remember saying to friends that I will never go on another diet. And I haven’t!  Don’t give up hope, stay true to yourself.
When I was pregnant with my 3rd I spoke to my doctor about having gastric bypass surgery,  I didn’t think I could do this, even my doctor is amazed at my awesome results (below is a picture of a graph of my results from the weight loss members area – all free of course on the Lose Baby Weight site!).

It has been an amazing journey; I remember crying in the first week on Lose baby weight smoothies because I felt ‘hungry’ for bad food. I remember puffing and panting on walks that had me shaking and unable to move afterwards, walks I could only do once a week or I may have very well died. ; )
I truly enjoy my morning and sometime lunchtime healthy mummy smoothie, I absolutely love the meals Lose baby weight have in the 28 day plan and even available for free on their website!
I can express milk easily for my baby because my milk supply has never been better,  I even have to wear nursing pads because I started leaking milk all the time.
I look back on my journey to date with so much joy and delight and find it hard to remember how I got myself to the place I began. I don’t feel like I am starving all the time anymore and I feel like normal portions are big and filling. I feel I can leave food on my plate should I feel full, YES I can recognise I am full. I don’t clean everyone’s plate up after meal time.
All the energy the healthy mummy smoothies have given me is amazing.
My original goal was 75kgs and when I lost the first 10kgs I decided that I could make it 70kgs as this puts me in a better place on the BMI scale and not ‘just’ in the healthy range.
I love feeling fit, I love looking fit. And more than anything my 4 year old daughter tells me she likes that I am not fat! The example I am setting for my kids will hopefully last them the rest of their life. And I can go on having energy to play with them while enjoying the long term health benefits.
Being the motivating mummy of the month was something that made me very scared, friends who have seen it said to me, ‘I don’t remember you being that big’ but the fact is I was, and I hid under loose plus size clothes! Normal clothes did not fit me.
I will be spending the next weeks and months working towards my goal of 70kgs, improving my strength and fitness through walks and exercises. I have recommended Lose baby weight to everyone I know. I swear by all I have learnt through their ongoing support, their products and all the mums who inspired me to lose weight with their success stories!
