‘When I was pregnant with my 2nd daughter, my weight climbed up to 95kg and I felt horrible.
Once she was born I went back to 80kg but put on more weight because I was feeling down from complications after her birth.
When Amelia was 3 months old I found the Lose Baby Weight website and decided to try it.
Being breastfeeding friendly was a massive incentive to buy the Healthy Mummy Smoothies.
I started the Lose Baby Weight weight loss challenge with some friends and having the healthy mummy smoothie reminded me to have a nice healthy breakfast every morning.

Eleanor Hannah has been motivating us all with her posts for the past few weeks.
She has already lost 20kg and has overcome some major obstacles along the way.
You can read Eleanor’s first, second and third posts here.
Today we have her 4th post, where Eleanor decides to set some new goals for herself after hitting a bit of a plateau. If you’re keen to find out more about setting goals, click here.

Now, over to Eleanor…
‘So I was feeling pretty low last week.
But I took a photo of myself on Mother’s Day and compared it to a picture I took almost a year ago.
To be honest I was pretty blown away by the change and actually proud.
I know I should never have let myself get to where I was, but I made the choice to change and get healthy again, and I’m getting there.

When it comes to exercise, one of the biggest obstacles we face is time.. and not enough of it! Busy mums find it especially hard to find opportunities to squeeze in a workout, much less commit to a regular fitness program.

There were two reasons I decided to try Lose Baby Weight.
Firstly, my daughter had what I thought was bad colic and I couldn’t work out what I was/wasn’t eating that was making her sick.
Secondly, I just could not shake the last 5kgs to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight!

I had my third child in Nov 2012.
I had gained about 17kgs during the pregnancy and after the birth of my daughter I lost 7 kgs in the first few days.
Then, unlike my other pregnancies, the weight loss stopped.
Even though I was breastfeeding I couldn’t seem to get below 70kgs.
I was always fairly active during pregnancy and the births of my first two kids and the weight just kind of fell off by itself. But with number 3 I just didn’t have the same opportunities to squeeze exercise in.
Enter Lose Baby Weight and I have now lost 9kg!

‘I’m a mum to 3 beautiful kids under 3.5. The youngest is 5 months old.
I’ve whacked on 30kgs in the last 3 years and I’ve been very unhappy and unmotivated until I came across Lose Baby Weight.
I bought the 28 Day Diet and Exercise Plan book and have lost 4kgs in less then 4 weeks.
I couldn’t be happier!
I’m still going as I need to lose another 23kgs.

12 months after my third (and last) child was born I was keen to budge those ‘last few kilos’ that were left.
During my son’s first year I had managed to lose 5.5kg on plenty of walking and simply by changing my portion sizes.
Although this was good I still could not lose the extra 6.5kg to get me back to my pre-baby weight.
Than I came across Lose Baby Weight on Facebook.

Today we received a great email from Eleanor. She says ‘I’m feeling motivated and awesome this morning so thought I’d do an extra post, hope thats OK.’
It’s not just OK Eleanor, it’s fantastic! We love the fact that you are feeling so good and we just hope that by sharing it with our other mums some of the enthusiasm will rub off.

You may have been reading the posts from our Motivating Mum of the Month Robyn Parkinson. You can read her first, second and third week posts here.
So far Robyn has lost over 16kg and this week’s post sees Robyn tackling some of the negative self-talk that has held her back with her exercise and healthy eating.
Come on Robyn, we know you can do it!
‘This week I wanted to talk a bit about how my thinking has impacted on my weight loss and exercise.
First of all, exercise.
On Sunday I completed a long held goal of being able to run a fun run by running the 4.5km Mother’s Day Classic without stopping.

Let me start from the beginning of my weight gain journey.
I am a mother to 3 beautiful children aged 5, 3 and 8 months.
During all three pregnancies I did no favours to my body through what I ate and the amount of exercise I did (or should I say didn’t do).
Before I had kids I was about 75kgs. When I was pregnant the first time I put on 10 kilos which I thought was great, as it wasn’t going to be too much of a problem to lose all that weight easily.
I thought wrong.
I tried and tried and only lost about 5 of the 10 kilos.
Then I fell pregnant for the second time, where I put on another 10 kilos.
