The smoothies are a quick, filling and super healthy alternative when you are pressed for time to make something from the healthy eating plan.
Cherry Coconut Smoothie
Cherries are a popular fruit because of their sweet flavour and firm texture – they make a delicious snack, but they also work exceptionally well in your Healthy Mummy smoothies and it is great to buy frozen cherries if you can’t buy fresh. You can read more about cherries here.
- 2 Tbsp chocolate Healthy Mummy smoothie mix
- 250 ml low fat milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1/4 cup frozen cherries
- 1 Small banana
- 1 Tbsp shredded coconut
Blend well for a few minutes and enjoy

Banana Blueberry Smoothie
There are so many health benefits you can receive by including bananas in your diet. They are packed full of healthy vitamins and fibre (to help keep you fuller for longer) you can read more about the health benefits of bananas here.
- 2 Tbsp vanilla Healthy Mummy smoothie mix
- 250ml low fat milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 2 frozen natural yogurt ice cubes
Blend well for 2-3 minutes and enjoy

Healthy Iced Coffee Smoothie
Many of us love to have a coffee in the morning and a fantastic way to have it the healthy way is in your smoothie
- 2 Tbsp chocolate Healthy Mummy smoothie mix
- 250ml low fat milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1 Tbsp oats
- 1 Tbsp coffee (use decaf if breast feeding) diluted in a little water
- 1/2 frozen banana
Blend well for a few minutes, it tastes like an iced coffee from a cafe!

Strawberry Cacao Smoothie

- 200mls Almond and Coconut milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen Strawberries
- 1/2 a frozen banana
- 1 heaped tbsp of Cacoa
- 1 Tsp vanilla extract
- Few ice cubes
Blend well for a few mins and enjoy

Snickers Smoothie
When eaten in moderation, peanuts can be part of a healthy eating plan or Healthy Mummy smoothie. Peanuts contain protein, fibre, folate and Vitamin E. You can read more about peanuts here.
- 2 Tbsp chocolate Healthy Mummy smoothie mix
- 250mls Almond Milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1 Banana ( use a frozen banana for a thick smoothie)
- 1 Tbsp 100% Natural Peanut Butter
- 1 Tbsp Wholegrain Rolled Oats
- Dash of Cinnamon
Blend on high for 2-3 mins and enjoy
