Today we are introducing you to mum of two, Chaye Challacombe who has managed to lose over 22 kilograms so far with Lose Baby Weight and the support from the Lose Baby Weight community. Hey! My name is Chaye. I am 24 and a stay at home mum to my two beautiful boys, Jack who is 2.5 years old and Noah who is 7 months.
When I was at school I took being in good shape for granted. Being young and naive I never thought that I would become overweight. But after I finished school that started to change.
I had just moved out of home so started eating whatever I wanted. I didn’t have the balanced meals that my Mum would cook for me at home. I didn’t do the exercise that I used to get from walking to school, I didn’t do any form of exercise at all.
It didn’t take long for me to start gaining weight. I pretty much gained steadily and never weighed myself. About 3 years later, I feel pregnant with my first son and was weighed at my first antenatal appointment. I couldn’t believe it when it said that I was 103kg! In between pregnancies I managed to lose a few kgs, a lot of it due to breastfeeding I think.
After my second pregnancy I finally felt like it was time to change. I was unhappy with my body and just felt unattractive. My husband always told me he loved me the way I was but I wanted to love myself also.
I came across lose baby weight on facebook and have never looked back. When I finally took the leap and bought the 28 day plan and healthy mummy smoothies, my life changed. I love the healthy mummy smoothies and the food is so yummy!
It has surprised me just how easy it can be once you have the support and put your mind to it. In the first week, I lost almost 2kgs! Now 5 months on, I have lost 22kgs! My husband has also been very supportive and has lost 20kg too.
It has been so great for me to find a weight loss plan that supports breastfeeding mothers. Before, I didn’t think it was possible to lose weight safely while breastfeeding. I am currently breastfeeding my 7 month old and plan to do it til he is at least 1. Lose baby weight is the only place I have found that has a plan that not only is safe to take while breastfeeding, but also actually supports it.
I have been steadily reaching my goals and I needed a new one. I was feeling quite lost and not sure where to go next. This is why I decided to apply to be a motivating mum! I want to motivate myself by helping to motivate you! I hope I can show you that if I can do this, then you can all do this.
I know how busy life can get sometimes being a Mum, sometimes it seems so hard to keep on track.  I think that’s what has been great for me about lose baby weight. They understand what we are going through and want to help. We have a great amount of support which is so important in the weight loss journey.
I am now ready to finish losing this weight! I am feeling so motivated and I can’t wait to help motivate you also.
Throughout the month I will share with you some of the challenges I have faced and some things that have helped me on my weight loss journey. But with the 28 day plan which is so easy to follow, our delicious and easy smoothies, and the support from lose baby weight and each other, how can we possibly go wrong?
I have some personal goals for the month of August.
–        I will get back into exercising daily. I was recently sick and found it hard to exercise due to asthma. I have also found it hard to get back into it after stopping, but no more excuses. It is time to start again!
–        I will try some new smoothies. I have found myself in a bit of a rut and having the same smoothie every day. I need to change it up so I don’t get bored.
–        I will get to a healthy bmi
–        I will always try my best and nothing less, no excuses!
