A big thank you to motivating mum Katie Scher for sending in another yummy recipe for us all to try.
This recipe would be perfect to try during the Reduce Sugar December Challenge as they have no added sugar in them


  • 1/2 cup Medjool Dates (7 dates)
  • 1 Tbsp Cocoa
  • 10g Walnuts
  • 10g Almonds
  • 10g Cashews
  • 10g Dried Apricots
  • 10g Sultanas
  • 10g Dark Chocolate Melts


  • Preheat your oven to 180C and line a tray with baking paper
  • In a food processor, combine all the ingredients together until it is finely chopped and sticking together-If your mixture is not sticky enough, add a teaspoon of water
  • Roll chunks of mixture into a ball, I used a teaspoon and place on the baking tray
  • Use a fork to flatten the dough slightly
  • Bake in the oven for 12 minutes
  • Cool on a wire rack
  •  These also taste delicious raw!
