But if you are looking for a gluten and grain free pizza base to prepare a healthy meal for your family then we have another one for you to try here, prepared by one of the mums following our healthy eating diet plans, Cat Christ.
This Grain Free Pizza Base recipe that can be topped with your favourite ingredients and makes a great dinner when following a healthy eating meal plan.


  • 1 cup grated carrot (squeeze juice out)
  • 2 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper

  • Preheat oven to 180C.
  • Mix all of the ingredients together, it’s easier with your hands!
  • Once well combined roll into a ball and flatten out into a pizza shape.
  • Bake for 10minutes.
  • Flip base over, top with tomato paste, garlic and toppings of choice. The one in the images has been topped with left over bbq chicken breast, pineapple, capsicum and light tasty cheese.
  • Put back into the oven until cheese has melted.
