Hello Lose Baby Weight Mums.
Halfway through June already and time for my update. The start of winter has brought some cold mornings but some beautiful warm days.
Some days it’s been hard to get out of bed. But I have been enjoying some hot Healthy Mummy Smoothies in the mornings to help get me going.
Although my favourite Healthy Mummy Smoothie so far has been a tropical fruit one with the strawberry mix.

The month of June has been so busy for me so far. We’ve had birthday parties, family visiting and Kindy events. I’ve managed to stick well to my healthy eating diet plan with only a few small slip ups.  I’ve done two big cookups so far this month for my freezer.
The meals from the Lose Baby Weight Plans and the site are great to have in the freezer. It’s helped keep me on track. My favourite recipe from the Lose Baby Weight 28 day plan at the moment is the chicken and vegetables (page 68). It’s such an easy meal to make, so filing and freezes really well. It’s perfect for lunch on cold days.

My biggest achievement so far for June is managing to drink 3+ litres of water daily. I’ve always struggled with my water intake especially in winter but I got an awesome new drink bottle which is making it easier to meet my water goals.
I’m back at the gym this month. I have missed a couple of days due to my youngest teething and serious lack of sleep. Some days I’ve found just completing the Healthy Mummy Post Pregnancy Exercise DVD and some at home exercises easier.
There are many way of including exercise in your daily routine. Some of my favourites at the moment are; lunges while carrying my youngest, squats while hanging the washing and leg raises while doing the dishes. At the moment my husband is looking for some equipment to build me a mini bootcamp for at home- I’m so excited!
I seem to have hit a bit of a plateau with my weight loss. I jumped on the scales for my two week update to see I’ve only lost 200g in the past two weeks (bringing my total weight loss to 13kgs on the Lose Baby Weight plans). I quickly pulled out my tape measure to take measurements as I know the scales aren’t always an accurate indication of results. I was pleasantly surprised to see I have lost 10cms in two weeks! My stats are below;

  • Weight : 87.6kgs
  • Top of Belly : 87cms
  • Belly Button : 96cms
  • Hips : 105cms
  • Bum : 111cms

Saturday 14th June 2014

  • Weight : 87.4kgs
  • Top of Belly : 85cms
  • Belly Button : 94cms
  • Hips : 103cms
  • Bum : 107cms

To break through this plateau I plan to re calculate my BMR and change up my eating and exercise accordingly.
