Caitlin has followed the Lose Baby Weight diet plans to achieve her post baby weight loss goals after both her pregnancies. Here she talks about her journey of losing 20kg so far:
I purchased the 28 Day Breastfeeding Friendly Diet & Exercise plan in June 2012 (my son was 7months old). I followed the guide and started exercising 5 times a week. The Lose Baby Weight plan was perfect for me! Yummy meals, easy to follow, and I learnt so much about what was nutritionally good for my body.
My first before and after picture is from when I had my first child. During my pregnancy I gained a whopping 43kg!!! Before this pregnancy I was 60kg. The day I gave birth to my son I was 103kg. I was huge! I weighed myself 12 weeks after giving birth and I was 90kg. I felt disgusting.

  • Before picture November 26 2011: 94kg.
  • After picture December 25 2012: 70kg.

I managed to lose another 4kg and got back to 66kg before I fell pregnant with my second child in March 2013.
I was determined with my second pregnancy not to gain the enormous amount that I did in my first. I ended up putting on 24kg! (still a big number but thankfully no where near the 43kg I had put on previously).
I was so much better prepared to lose the post baby weight this time. I jumped straight back onto the Lose Baby Weight meals, testing out new healthy eating recipes from the website, but this time I also purchased some of the Healthy Mummy Smoothie mix. I have one smoothie a day and my breakfast and dinner is a Lose Baby Weight meal.
I still have slip ups (evil sugar cravings) but I am also still breastfeeding. I’m back at the gym 4 times a week. Feeling fabulous!!

  • Before picture December 14 2013: 90kg
  • After Picture May 22 2014: 70kg

My first goal is to reach 65kg with the ultimate goal of getting back to 60kg. My favourite motivator right now is the private Lose Baby Weight forum page on Facebook. So many inspirational mums and it’s nice to know there are so many other women out there on the Lose Baby Weight Journey!
