Motivating Mum of 3 Abigail Colins shares her top tips with Lose Baby Weight after losing 10kg on our plans

Hello Mummies,
My name is Abbey and I have three girls 5, 2 and a 11 month old that I am breastfeeding.
So far I am enjoying being a Motivating Mum it’s really keeping me on track. I have worked really hard on my food intake and I feel like I now have the right balance for me.
I have always been a big eater and my meals were always the same size as my husbands, I ate the kids left overs and loved all this chocolate. Skipping breakfast has never been an issue for me for example I have always had myself well feed, too well feed. So when I started Lose Baby Weight I couldn’t even contemplate having a Healthy Mummy Smoothie for a meal, it just didn’t seem like it would be enough to fill me up.
I started having the Healthy Mummy Smoothies in the afternoons as a snack, which helped me to break my habit of eating sweet biscuits or chocolate. I tried having a smoothie for breakfast but it didn’t work for me, I still felt hungry. I now have a smoothie for lunch everyday and this has helped me to eat the right amount of calories each day. Best of all I don’t feel hungry and those smoothies do fill me up. I can now eat smaller meals too; I’m not eating like a man anymore!
I have also taken my exercise to a new level this week and achieved the 7.4km run I do every Saturday in a PB. I have also picked up one more Pump class at the gym.
I can see the difference in my body and I feel so good. My goal is to get to 60kgs so I am ready to see the back for the 70’s for good. I know however that the scales aren’t always the best indication for weight loss.
Each week I try to give up something and add something. This week I am going to give up the 1 sugar I have in my tea and I am going to add doing 15 minutes exercise on Wednesdays (this is my cleaning day at home when I don’t go to the gym).
Stick with it ladies!
