As mums we can all know how some days it feels like you can’t fit in anytime in to do a workout let alone go to the toilet! Baby crying when you leave their sight, toddler hanging off your leg and the wandering whiner or the cat napper!
Here are some quick and fun workouts that you can do with your bub or toddler at home, outside or at the park. You can do as many or as little as you like, you can make it into a workout or just a fun game to play throughout the day.
You don’t have to do a full hour workout to see results; small exercises here and there throughout the day make a big difference.
Before you start make sure you have had a checkup from your GP and that you feel ready to start and I also recommend that when doing your baby is able to support their head.
Here is a quick guide on muscle separation  and when it’s safe to start to lose your baby weight 

1) Sit Up Peekaboo Kisses

Lay down in a sit up position with your bub/toddler in your lap and sit up saying PEEKABOO!

2) Push-Up Kisses

Depending on how you are feeling you can do a push up on your hands and knees and push down through the hips or if you are up to it through the knees like in the picture below or more advanced on your toes.

(If you have problems with your pelvic joints I do not recommend this exercise)
Stand with your legs wide apart, your feet pointing out towards your knees and squat down holding your baby under the arms, pushing through your heels and squeezing your bum on the way up.

4) Aeroplane

Sitting on your bum with your legs, put your baby on your legs and bring your legs forward and back.

5) Hip Extension Push-Up Kisses

Square on your hands and knees, raise one leg straight out, bend down through your elbows and push your leg up as you go down and kiss your baby.
