Hi everyone!

My name is Kimberley, I’m 24 and mum to two beautiful boys (2.5 & 5 months). My husband and I have always eaten healthily (except for a few treats here and there) but our portions were a bit big. We both love food and cooking!

During my second pregnancy, a friend had told me about Lose Baby Weight and I looked into it. I was amazed but also a little hesitant. It seemed too good to be true. Was Lose Baby Weight REALLY going to let me eat chocolate? I was not happy with my body and was stressed about it for most of my pregnancy. I decided once I had my son I would start Lose Baby Weight and start looking after myself too.

I bought some Healthy Mummy Smoothie tubs and started the smoothies at 7 weeks post partum (see May 2014 pictures).  I was so excited to find so many smoothie recipes! My favourites are snickers, chocolate frappe and green goddess. I have to make extra because my husband and 2 year old love ‘smoothie time’ and will devour mine if I don’t! ☺

I started with one Healthy Mummy Smoothie for lunch a few times a week and focused on clean eating and incorporating gentle exercise from the Healthy Mummy Post Pregnancy DVD and walking. After a few weeks, I started to add strength training in as well.

Now, just over three months down the track, I have lost 10kg and 50cm (see August 2014 pictures). I have 1-2 smoothies a day and all other meals/snacks are recipes from the Lose Baby Weight cookbooks or website. The Healthy Mummy Smoothies are perfect when I’m busy and don’t have time to cook or prepare something.  I also enjoy baking clean treats from the Guilt Free Chocolate Baking Cookbook (if you are a chocoholic or have a sweet tooth, you NEED this!) …and my whole family enjoys eating them!

My exercise consists of cardio, strength training and yoga. I’m human and have had bad days food or exercise wise, here and there, but I’ve learnt to pick myself up and keep going because I CAN do this. The food and exercise programs with Lose Baby Weight are so easy to follow and the blog articles always seem to pop up at the right time to help motivate me and put me back on track. They really are about making good choices.

When I first saw the results on the Lose Baby Weight website, I felt inspired. I used to hate my body but now, I am happy to be me and am proud to say that Lose Baby Weight, and the support of my amazing husband, family and friends, helped me get here. It was one of the best decisions I have made.

I still have 11-13kg to my ultimate goal, but I am enjoying the process.

Reward yourself for your achievements, no matter how big or small and be proud and confident.
