Hi everyone, not long after having my first child my partner proposed to me! With the wedding date set for December 2014 I knew I really needed to start trying to lose weight. After searching for weight loss regimes suitable for breastfeeding Mummies I came across Lose Baby Weight!
5 months on and I have lost 11kg and I now weigh 63kg with a goal weight of 58kg. The only changes I have made are having a Healthy Mummy Smoothie for lunch and having more nutritious meals for dinner from the 28 Day Meal Plan. I am still successfully breastfeeding and my milk supply actually increased a lot when I started having the smoothies.
My go to Healthy Mummy Smoothie is the Banana Berry Booster. I make all my smoothies with either trim milk or almond milk. The smoothies are great because they are quick to make up while running after a little one and they are nutritious, leaving me with energy to finish my day!
When I make the meals from the 28 Day Diet and Exercise Plan I add a side of mashed potato for my other half so he doesn’t feel like he is missing out as he has a physical job.
I actually weigh less now than I did before I had my baby which is an amazing feeling.
I know this last 5kg is going to be the hardest to shift so I am going to start adding more exercise to my plans by using the Lose Baby Weight Exercise DVD, watch this space!
