The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago has developed an interactive tool called ‘Make Room For Baby’ that illustrates week by week exactly what’s happening inside your growing bump. As you can see things get very squished in there!!!
Here are just a handful of the symptoms you might experience as your baby grows:
- The need to pee.. all the time
- Heartburn and indigestion thanks to bub squashing your insides
- Stretch marks
- An aching lower back
Thankfully there are a variety of ways to manage the aches and pains that arise from pregnancy. Regular warm baths and pregnancy specific massage can both help take some of the strain off your poor, aching limbs.
