I’m a mum to three gorgeous children aged 7, 5 and 3. My pregnancy weightloss journey started when my eldest child turned 10 months old.
I was almost 100kgs and dropped to 74kgs through hard work, determination, healthy eating, and most of all exercise! It was a definite change of lifestyle and one I was happy to make. I didn’t want to be that “fat mum” for my children.
With every pregnancy I would put on 20kgs of pregnancy weight so by the third child I knew what I had to do to get back into shape. It was hard though, being a mother to three young children (one of whom has a sensory processing disorder), a wife to a shift working husband, and always feeling TIRED!
Of course I had done weight loss programs before, and whilst they were successful, I felt like I was on a diet and the longevity was difficult to maintain.
I started the Lose Baby Weight smoothies and plans when my youngest was 2 years old, and after watching my girlfriend Nicole Furlong have such success on the Lose Baby Weight plans. I initially started the Healthy Mummy smoothies (that’s what I like to class them as!) to help with fatigue. The weightloss was a bonus! More energy = more motivation.
I have incorporated the smoothies into my daily routine now, and find the ease and convenience is so successful in my pregnancy weight loss/management.
