I have now completed three 28 Day Challenges and I am about to start my fourth. I can’t wait to see what the January challenge has in store! I absolutely love the challenges, I have lost almost 11kg* in 3 months.
This is a HUGE thing for me, as I have previously found it so difficult to lose even the smallest amount of weight.

I had tried to lose weight after having my (now 2 year old) Daughter, I tried “clean eating” and following a few celebrity chefs’ cookbooks but it only lasted a month or so and I wasn’t seeing results.
I had good intentions but I found it so strict and I wasn’t able to stick to it for very long. I fell pregnant with my Son in December 2014 without losing my baby weight from my Daughter and am now 15 weeks post c-section.
This time around I was determined to lose weight!
I researched different weight loss programs and I came across Lose Baby Weight. I loved that it was designed for busy breastfeeding Mums! Perfect!
I liked that the exercises had an “Alternate” option which meant I could still do them with my back injury & ease into them while recovering from my C-section.

The meal plans are really straightforward and enjoyable for my whole family, even picky Miss 2!
The 28 Day challenge has completely changed my mind frame, as it is nothing like a “diet”, I can even have pizza and lose weight! I love that all of my meals are planned out for the week, are healthy and I don’t even have to write out a shopping list! LBW does it all for me!
The challenges have taught me how much my diet influences my weight.
I used to skip breakfast, would be tempted to grab fast food and cook “easy” carb loaded dinners after work. I now make sure I eat breakfast, a Healthy Mummy Smoothie normally as they are so quick and nutritious (and so many different smoothie recipes to try!).
I also take the time to prepare healthy snack options from the 28 Day Challenge meal plan or recipe Hub, and do as much prep for my dinner during the day.
I am now lighter (and healthier) than I was on my wedding day 5 years ago!
My body is different now, it has carried two children but thanks to LBW I will get to my goal. Seeing great results in the 3 short months I have been following LBW has not only changed my mindset and given me confidence, it has helped to make my whole family healthier & happier.
My Husband has lost 8kg* in the short time we have been doing the 28 Day Challenges, the food I am cooking for our family is more nutritious and my children have a happier Mumma.
I do still enjoy going out and I still love my coffee! I think all Mum’s need their coffee right?! I’ve just switched to better choices.
I will have a small almond milk latte rather than a large full cream caramel latte. LBW has helped me to no longer doubt myself. I CAN lose weight. I WILL lose weight.
My goal for January is to stay focused on eating healthy and to increase the amount of exercise I am doing.
I still have another 8kg to lose to reach my goal weight (although I am already down 7kg on my pre-baby weight!!). I am aiming to lose another 3kg by the end of January.
I am so excited to be a Motivating Mum as The Healthy Mummy has already helped me so much.
