Motivating Mum Kristy Tidey loses an amazing 23.2kgs with Lose Baby Weight and shares how she is going with the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge.
Hi everyone,
A happy update from me!  The last few months I have been struggling with getting the scales to move even though I was still following the Lose Baby Weight plans and exercising regularly.  I know a lot of people hit a plateau at some point in their weight loss, but it was still really frustrating to have everything seem to stall.  Finally the scales have started moving down again, and I have now lost a total of 23.2kgs since I started following the Lose Baby Weight plans.  In November I weighed 95.2kgs and now I weigh 72kgs.
I have really been enjoying the Weight Loss Challenge so far.  I haven’t ever really done HIIT training before and I’m finding that the exercises are really pushing me. I have loved that I can still get a really good workout done in a limited amount of time, and I think that’s one of the things that’s helped me to beat my weight loss plateau.  It’s also been fun to be able to record my results for each circuit.
My favourite recipes in July are all from the Winter Weight Loss Challenge.  I love the chilli con carne and the chicken coconut curry….  And my 10 month old can’t get enough of the corn fritters with the avocado salad!  I’ve been trying to branch away from my favourite mango Healthy Mummy Smoothies, so this week I’ve tried the black forest smoothie with frozen cherries and coconut: it was delicious!
This week I’m hosting a special event for extended family and I’m planning on serving Lose Baby Weight recipes as well as a chocolate cake from the Guilt Free Chocolate Treats and Baking book.  I don’t want to use a special occasion as an excuse to make unhealthy choices!
My goals for the rest of July are to continue following the Weight Loss Challenge and to exercise daily.  I haven’t taken my measurements for this month yet, I want to wait until the end.  I’m hoping for a big result!  I hope that the rest of you are all doing well with your own goals.  Bring on the rest of the month 🙂
