This month we meet Motivating Mum Teagan O’Callaghan who has lost 7.7 kilograms on our Lose Baby Weight plans.
Welcome Teagan!
Hello everybody! My name is Teagan and I have a beautiful 14-month-old daughter named Claire. I first heard about Lose Baby Weight in the first few months after having Claire when I was at the heaviest I’ve ever been, 92kg. After going through a bit of a tough time in life I decided to get back into the Lose Baby Weight lifestyle in June this year.
After updating my weight I was at 88kg. As of last week, I am 84.3kg and very proud of myself for losing 7.7kg since going on the Lose Baby Weight Plans. My goal is a long term one, I’d like to weigh 70kg but each week when I step on the scales and the number is less than the week before and the cm’s are smaller than last weeks measurements, I can’t wipe the smile off my face and I’m determined to do it all again the next week.
What I love about the Lose Baby Weight program is that the Healthy Mummy smoothies are real smoothies not powder you just add to milk, or even worse water. I’ve never liked those weight loss programs with the shakes. They smell funny and from what I’ve heard they taste worse so I was pleasantly surprised to see that you still need to make a normal smoothie with all the nutrients of milk, fruit, nuts etc and then use the smoothie powder as added nutrients!
I use the 28 day plan but I don’t follow it rigidly as I am a bit of a fussy eater but I LOVE the recipes on the Lose Baby Weight website so I tend to mix and match what I eat with the 28 Day Plan, the Healthy Mummy Smoothies and the website recipes .
I love to exercise and prefer weights and core training to cardio, and aim to train at the gym 3 times a week and go for a walk with my daughter on the alternate days.I am steadily losing the weight and very proud of my achievements but I’m ready to step it up a notch and drop this weight so I can be completely happy with myself, especially now that it warming up outside! My goal is to get as close to, or possibly even under the 80kg mark by the end of September.
I’m looking forward to being a Motivating Mum with Lose Baby Weight and not only motivating myself to push for bigger and better results but also motivating all you other fantastic mums out there too! I hope my stories and progress inspires you to strive for more results too.
