Leonie has been following the Lose Baby Weight healthy eating diet plans and 28 Day Weight Loss Challenges and has lost 7.9kgs. She feels inspired to learn more about health and fitness and become a Sports & Exercise Nutritional Advisor.
I am a 29 year old mother of 2 little girls aged 4.5 years and 15 months from Adelaide SA.
I first came across the Lose Baby Weight plans in February this year when I overheard another mum at playgroup talking about this fantastic plan she had found.
I bought the 28 Day Diet & Exercise Plan book and a tub of The Healthy Mummy Smoothie mix and started incorporating it into my daily life. But it wasn’t until I joined the 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge that things finally clicked and I got my mojo back for exercise.
It gave me the confidence to finally sign up for an Aquarobics class that I had been thinking about joining for a while and I now vary my exercise between my Aquarobics class once a week, walking/running, doing the Lose Baby Weight DVD, or doing incidental exercise like fitting in squats when waiting for my smoothie to blend etc.
I do not actively weigh myself and I don’t calorie count. I prefer to go by how my clothes are fitting me and how I am feeling in myself. I have gone from size 12-14 to closer to size 10-11.
From February when I was 74.5kg, til today where I am 66.6kg, I have lost 7.9kg and am feeling fantastic. I am loving trying out all the new recipes and opening up my tastebuds to new and fantastic food combinations. I have even been inspired to start a new course to become a Sports & Exercise Nutritional Advisor.
My goal now is to tone up and become the healthiest version of myself by the time I turn 30 in June next year and be a good role model to my girls in the process.
My first photo is from before I started with the Lose Baby Weight plans and I was weighing in around 80kg 2 months after the birth of my second daughter (30th August 2013). My second photo was taken today (30th September 2014) weighing in at 66.6kg.
