In January this year we were so happy to hear from Kate Browne (nee English) when she reached her goal weight using the Lose Baby Weight plans and Healthy Mummy Smoothies. She had dropped 17.5kg and you can read Kate’s past story here.
And now 4 months later we have caught up with Kate (who is now married – congratulations Kate!) to see how she is going with her weight loss maintenance. Would you believe she has lost even MORE weight – now 20.5kg down and feeling fantastic!


We asked Kate to answer some questions for us, as we know how much you all love to hear how other mums have successfully lost weight and kept it off with the Lose Baby Weight plan and smoothies.

Kate’s Weight Loss Maintenance

Q. How much weight did you lose on the Lose Baby Weight plans?
A. I lost 20.5kg and went from a size 18 to a size 10
Q. How many kids do you have?
A. One beautiful baby girl (10 months old)
Q. What was the best thing about the Lose Baby Weight plans and smoothies?
A. The healthy mummy smoothies are so easy, filling and the best part is they taste good. I know that I am getting a rounded, nutritional meal! It’s also great that they are so versatile. The 28 day plan is also easy to follow for a busy family.
Q. What is your top tip for other mums wanting to lose weight?
A. It is ok to make time to look after yourself!!!! If you don’t take care of you then you can’t do the best job at taking care of your baby or family. If you find it hard to get some time just for you, make it a family activity. Getting up and going for a walk with my husband with the baby in the pram was a great way for us to get out of he house away from the tv/computer/housework and just chat while we walked.
Q. Have you kept the weight off?
A. I smashed my goal weight by 4kgs and have kept all of the weight off for 4 months now. I have found it difficult to keep up my exercise routine now that I have returned to work but I am trying to stay as active as possible and haven’t gained any weight so far.
Q. Would you recommend Lose Baby Weight to other mums?
A. Absolutely! Having the support of the Facebook page and daily emails makes you feel like you’re not in it alone and it is so easy!
