weight_loss_recipeWe LOVE Guacamole. It is the perfect dip on your healthy eating post pregnancy weight loss plan and is literally packed full of nutrients to nourish your body with goodness.
The avocado contains good fats that not only help with your overall health but they have stomach fat fighting benefits as well as being amazing for your hair and skin.
This is a great dip to make to dip as a snack to dip carrots, celery and cucumber in as well as wholemeal bread and is one of our favourites on the Lose Baby Weight plans  You can see more weight loss recipes for snacks here too.

Chunky Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 3 avocadoes, ripe
  • 1 large tomato, ripe
  • Juice of 1 large lime
  • 1 medium red onion
  • Handful freshly chopped coriander
  • 1 small red chilli
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Finely dice the red onion. Slice the chilli in half and scrape the seeds out with the back of your knife then finely dice the flesh.
  2. Mince the tomato, chopping it as finely as you can. Place into a bowl with the lime juice, red onion, coriander, chilli and salt and pepper.
  3. Halve and stone the avocadoes, then scoop out the flesh using a spoon. Place into the bowl with the rest of the ingredients. Whisk to combine the ingredients and break up the avocado a little bit.
  4. If not serving the guacamole straight away or within a few hours, place an avocado stone into the guacamole as this stops it from going brown.
