Hi my name is Carly Williamson.
I’m a 35 year old Mum to two busy boys; 4.8 and 2.8 years old. I have PCOS and I was on fertility treatment to get pregnant with my first little man. I became pregnant with my second little man unexpectedly without treatment; I hadn’t even really started to lose my baby weight, I was still breastfeeding and I had been told I had no chance of conceiving naturally. I had complicated pregnancies and both were delivered by emergency C-section.
There is nothing worse than thinking you are smaller than you really are. I was so excited to go away at Easter with my little family up to the Sunshine Coast. Put my bathers on and I looked at the full length mirror (I didn’t have one at the time) then the shock set in. Is that what I look like? Is that what everyone sees? I put my dress back on. I looked pregnant. I didn’t look like this. How did I let myself get like this? I took photos the day before I left (my before photos). I was upset and I felt embarrassed. I didn’t know where to begin or how to make a change.
I found Lose Baby Weight after noticing a friend had liked it on Facebook. After chatting to her, I joined the Lose Baby Weight Facebook Support Group straight away and started trying recipes. For Mother’s Day from my boys I received the 28-Day Diet and Exercise Plan and the Comfort Eating E-books as my present. I haven’t looked back. I started straight away and I started noticing changes, not just on the scales and on my measurements but my skin was clearer and my hair started to grow. I started walking to get back into my healthy lifestyle and my energy levels picked up.
After a month I decided after seeing the recommendations on the Lose Baby Weight Facebook Support Group to purchase the Healthy Mummy Post Pregnancy Exercise DVD. One of the best purchases I have made… what a work out! It’s now part of my weekly exercise regime. So far I have lost 12.3kg using Lose Baby Weights recipes, programs and exercises.
I work part time and I’m studying part time to finish my Bachelor in Early Childhood. I have a very supportive husband who has lost 8kg incidentally by changing our family’s diet. He is now working overseas until Christmas, so I am currently flying solo.
At the moment I am doing the July 28 Day Challenge in October and I am up to day 21. At the start I was so sore using muscles I haven’t used in a long time. I also found out recently that I still have abdominal separation. I am doing the modified versions of the exercises and I am still getting great results. My body shape is changing and the exercises are as easy or as challenging as you make them.
I’m so excited about the November 28 Day Challenge with so many new features such as the new customisable recipes and videos on all of the exercises. I hope I can motivate you as one of the Lose Baby Weight Motivating Mums on our journey to change our lives for the better.
