Having a good blender is key to making good smoothies and to making you want to make smoothies and as part of the Lose Baby Weight weight loss plans having one to two smoothies per day is key to successfully losing your baby weight. I need to use my blender 2-3 times a day to make smoothies for myself and my husband so it is imperative for me to have a good blender that holds up to everything I put it through.
I have been using the Brevile Powermax blender for 3 months now and for each smoothie I make I fill it with 8-10 ice cubes, frozen fruit, fresh fruit and nuts and it certainly gets put through its paces. It consistently blends my smoothies well and gives a good outcome and for $44 I think it is a good price and good value. My only complaint is that sometimes not all of the ice cubes get blended but I find the best way around this is to ensure that the ice cubes are added on top of the milk and before the soft fruit – so it sits in the middle of all of the smoothie content – this way the blender seems to grip the ice better and blend it all in. I also have to blend for a good few minutes at times to ensure I get a good thick mixture – but on the whole I can absolutely recommend this blender as it is good value and does blend the smoothies I make well.
