The last week of May is here and what a month it has been!!
I’ve seen many posts in the Healthy Mummy Community about achievements, non-scale victories, amazing food pictures and just all of you being amazing!
Two months ago I had lost my way a little bit and lost focus on properly caring for myself. As busy mums we tend to forget that part sometimes. But I realised that in order for my life to run smoothly, I NEED to make it a priority to look after myself. When I’m eating healthy and exercising, everything else just falls into place.
No matter how busy we get we need to vow to still look after ourselves.
Even the smallest of changes makes a big impact on how we feel. I know all too much about being overtired from restless kids, staying up all night from studying, trying to please everyone and keep a tidy house, but we as mums need this. We need this for our happiness and our sanity.
Being one of your Motivating Mums for May has well and truly given me the push I needed.
Not only do I get to inspire and motivate all the wonderful mums in the group, but every single one of them inspires me to keep going. By showing me support and encouragement it truly pushes me to keep going and to keep creating amazing recipes for all of you to enjoy.
If you ever have a slight thought of wanting to be a Motivating Mum, seriously DO IT!!! Believe in yourself and try something new. You may surprise yourself!

So reflecting back for the month of May – what have you achieved that you are super proud of?
For me it was getting back to it, because it’s not the amount of times we fall off that matter, it’s getting back up and trying that counts.
Be proud of everything you have achieved and what lies ahead. And remember we are all in this together.
