Hi everyone! My name is Tasheena and I have been using the Lose Baby Weight plans since May 2013 and have lost 39kgs, you can read my latest update here. Below I have shared some tips on how to keep the children busy so you can have some time to do the things you need:
We all know how much our kids love to let Mummy have her time…. cue laughter! If we go by my kids they are following me around, asking for everything and a pony too, getting into who knows what and think fresh eggs are balls and learning that they don’t bounce!

Food Dye Paint
Pots and Pans
Kids love to play cooking so let them play with your pots and pans and don’t forget the wooden spoon. Lots of loud noises to play drums or even add some spare spiral pasta, if you’re feeling adventurous add some water for mixing to let the kids pretend play.
With some crayons and paper draw up a map of the yard or inside the house outlining where to go with some dots and arrows to the hidden treasure! Could be toys, snacks, whatever your desire to keep them searching.
We all love playdough and here is an easy homemade recipe you can make to entertain the children for ages:
- 2 cups plain flour
- 2tbsp vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup salt
- 2tbsp cream of tartar
- Up to 1.5cups of boiling water
- Food colouring
- Mix the flour, salt, cream of tartar and oil in a large mixing bowl
- Add food colouring to the boiling water, then into the dry ingredients
- Keep stiring until well combined
- Allow it to cool down, then take it out of the bowl and knead it vigorously for a couple of minutes until all the stickiness is gone
- If it is still a bit sticky add a little more flour
