Snack food can be high in fat, especially if it comes pre-packaged so not great when you are following a weight loss plan or trying to lose stomach fat.
But if you take a bit of time to prepare your own snacks or to put low-calorie food into boxes that you can pop into your bag you can save on calories and fat that will help you on your Lose Baby Weight plans and journey

Here are ten snacks that come in at under 100 calories each.

1.     ¼ cup low fat vanilla yoghurt with ½ cup mixed blueberries and raspberries. 90 calories.
Swap the vanilla yoghurt for another flavour if it’s not your favourite. Save even more calories by choosing a fat-free yoghurt variety. This is a great snack for those who have a sweet tooth.
2.     20 olives. 68 calories.
Olives are a great healthy snack food as they are actually very good for your liver. Be careful not to choose the olives that are packed in oil, however; go for the olives packed in brine instead.
3.     5 squares of dark chocolate. 85 calories.
Most of the time, all we need is a little chocolate – we don’t need a full bar to satisfy our sugar cravings. Dark chocolate is also full of anti-oxidants, making it a great choice health-wise.
4.     14 almonds. 98 calories.
Almonds are one of my favourite nuts – they are smooth, savoury and they are also really filling. They are also full of heart-healthy oils, meaning that they’re good for your health – far better than many other savoury snacks, such as crisps.
5.     1 apple. 100 calories.
There’s a reason that they say ‘an apple a day keeps the doctor away’. Apples are packed full of vitamins and nutrients. Their fiber content also means that they help to keep you fuller for longer, which will help massively if you’re trying to lose weight.
6.     2 crackers with 1 tbsp. peanut butter. 93 calories.
Crackers are a great snack food as they take ages to chew, meaning you have to spend longer eating them – and peanut butter is full of heart-healthy oils and protein, which will also keep you fuller for longer.
7.     Fun-size Milky Way. 76 calories.
If you don’t have the time to prepare a snack, or you’re stuck at the shop surrounded by chocolate and have no idea which is the best choice, a fun size Milky Way comes in at only 76 calories making it a great option if you’re just fancying a bit of something sweet.
8.     Carrot and Mayo Dip. 65 calories.
3 carrots cut into batons with 2 tbsp. extra-light mayonnaise seasoned with salt, pepper and some freshly chopped chives makes for a fantastic low-fat snack.
9.     28g low-fat mozzarella with 6 basil leaves and a cup of cherry tomatoes. 100 calories.
This Italian inspired snack is just 100 calories! Swap the cherry tomatoes for a large tomato cut into slices if you prefer, although cherry tomatoes are best for portability.
10.  Popcorn. 85 Calories.
If you’re spending a night in watching movies, enjoy this low-fat popcorn snack. Two cups of air-cupped popcorn sprinkled with 1 tbsp. grated parmesan cheese comes in at only 85 calories.
