When Healthy Mummies Rebecca, Laura and Jessica started the 28 Day Challenge they hoped to have their husbands’ support, but they didn’t realise how much our plans would benefit the whole family!
These fabulous Healthy Hubby’s not only supported their partners on their weight loss journeys but joined in too. There results are FANTASTIC – take a look.
1. Team Pickett
Rebecca says “This is the difference in my husband following the 28 day weight loss challenge with me. This is 3 months’ difference, and 13kg. The whole family is benefiting from this amazing program!!!”
2. Team Flanagan
Laura says “My husband and I were talking over coffee this morning about how we are surviving not having much sleep, husband’s long hours and raising two kids. We decided it came down to four things; going to bed earlier to allow for the fact we get woken up, coffee, healthy diet and exercise.
“We talked about how we wouldn’t be coping if we were still the people we were in the first photo, the couple who didn’t exercise, who only ate badly, who didn’t take care of themselves. We know what a positive difference eating well and exercising makes, how it actually fills our cup and gives us what we need to keep on keeping on.
“I love the idea of looking better, it makes me feel pretty good if I’m confident looking in the mirror, but the biggest benefit we as a couple have gotten since finding the Healthy Mummy has been our health, our energy levels and our stamina. It’s made such a difference and I don’t think we’d be rocking this parenting gig quite so well without it.”
3. Team Magill
Jessica says,“Before I started my LBW journey, DH was a strictly meat and veg person, hated trying new things and wanted takeout at every opportunity.
“He agreed to jump on board and try Challenge recipes for dinner as long as I didn’t make it again if he didn’t like it. He now raves about dinner every night and there’s only been one meal out of countless recipes that he hasn’t liked!
“7 months later he is eating the Challenge meals and snacks every day and has a smoothie every morning instead of skipping breakfast. I’m not sure exactly how much weight he has lost, but there’s definitely a difference and I’m so proud 😊.”
