Sarah has lost 4kgs after following the September 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge. She loves the energy that has returned now she’s following a healthy eating diet plan and regularly exercising.

I may have only had small losses compared to others (4kg and 18.5cm all over) but the thing I’m most pleased about is the total change to my family’s eating habits and activity levels. I had gotten into a bad habit of lots of takeaway, frozen meals and packet mixes, whatever was easiest when that witching hour hit.
Naturally I wanted to lose weight, but my bigger goal was to be able to make healthy meals for my family without the need to have strict calorie counting and being able to ‘just know’ the right things to eat and how much. The September 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge has taught me that.
best_ways_to_lose_weightI now have a whole heap of great recipes that are quick, easy and good for my family, made without all the nasty additives. When I’m hungry, I now can go to the fridge and get a healthy snack without reaching for the junk. My sugar cravings are under control and I can have an occasional treat without going overboard and feeling like I’m missing out on something.
We also do so much more activity together. I put the baby in the pram and the two older children on bikes and walk together and go to the park. I do squats as I push the swing, skip and dance with my daughter and meet friends for walks instead of lunch. I have so much more energy and am a lot happier in myself. I’m looking forward to the November 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge with the customisable plans, that will be even better!!
