Juanita Becomes A Motivating Mum & Has Lost 10kg

Hi everyone,
My name is Juanita and I have been selected to be one of the Lose Baby Weight motivating mums for October. I’m a mum of 5. I have 4 boys aged 8,6,4 and 2 years old and a daughter who is 7 months old.
I found the lose baby weight plans and products when I was pregnant with my last baby. I decided when she was born that she would be our last baby so I really wanted to get ‘me’ back. I wanted to be more than just a mum. I wanted to feel good about myself again which I haven’t done in a really long time. The mums I saw were great motivation that I too can look great and feel great again. I love how everything is set up by busy mums for busy mums.

One of my children has been diagnosed with a  few behavioural conditions so I’m usually busy taking him to therapies as well as other activities for my other children so time is quite limited most days for me to do much for me. So when I decided to change the way I ate I knew it would also benefit my children. I know they can’t eat bad foods so I limit it in our house now and am seeing great results in my family.
I didn’t want just another diet (I have been on a lot and of course they are boring and I don’t stick to them) so I knew it had to be a lifestyle change, I knew I had to change the way I ate for good. I started off slow by reducing my sugar intake first. This was hard for me as I was drinking 2-3 litres of coke a day and eating a lot of chocolate, but within a week of stopping I no longer craved it. I also cut down my sugar in my morning coffee. I feel so much more energetic now that I’m eating better foods.
I made dinners from the 28 day plan and was amazed at how easy and how full of flavour they were. We were very plain eaters but we are now enjoying a whole range of yummy foods. I aim to get up every morning before my kids do to do my exercise, otherwise I know I won’t have time. I class this time as ‘my’ time (most of the time my children are sitting on the couch watching and sometimes they try to join in.)
I have now lost 10kg and I feel great! Bring on October!
