Almost halfway into the June challenge already!
I am loving the new recipes from this 28 Day Weight Loss Challenge. The chicken enchiladas are to die for and I’ve really enjoyed the warm breakfast options. Weight loss aside, one of my favourite things about this program is learning to cook the family’s favourite recipes from scratch. No preservatives, no artificial colours/flavours and it’s so much cheaper than buying all the packets!
My two little people have been sick the past week, so sleep has taken priority over exercise. Thankfully I had managed a massive food prep day the weekend before, so I have a full freezer and no excuse to make bad food choices!
We ended up taking Mr 2 to the hospital last night and we were there until the early hours of the morning.
I resisted the chocolates in the vending machines and McDonald’s on the way home, which is a huge non-scale victory for me!
McDonald’s thickshakes were once my weakness, but instead I held out until I could make myself a Healthy Mummy smoothie and my body thanked me for it!
Hopefully next week I’ll be able to smash out some Healthy Mummy DVD workouts or go for a walk, but for now I’m happy with the food choices I’ve made and I’m soaking up cuddles.
One step at a time, we’ve got this!
