Hi I’m Jess, one of your Winter Warrior Motivating Mums for June!
I am 22 years old, and a stay at home mum/wife to two beautiful kids aged 2 and 7 months.
I started using The Healthy Mummy 28 Day Challenge recipes when my second child was a week old. With two under 2, I didn’t have a lot of time to spend in the kitchen, but there were so many quick and easy recipes making it easy to stay on track.
After a month or so of following the recipes, I jumped on the smoothie bandwagon and now I am completely addicted!! They are so quick to prepare and they keep me full for hours. Exactly what I need to keep up with my two young kids. They’ve been amazing for my supply as I breastfeed my daughter too!
I’ve lost 20kgs in the 7 months I’ve been following the program, and I can honestly say that I have not felt deprived or hungry once!
I have so much more energy these days, and I am so much more confident. My body is far from perfect, but I’m learning to embrace my stretch marks and loose skin. My body grew two huge babies and that’s pretty amazing!
I can’t wait to smash out my June goals and continue to be the healthy mum my kids deserve.
