At Lose Baby Weight, we just LOVE mangoes.  And we love adding them into our Healthy Mummy Smoothies
Mangoes are sweet, slightly sour fruits that contain lots and lots of flavour – and they are just the right balance of sweet and sour so that you can pop them into savoury salads or whiz them into your favourite dessert.
Mangoes are incredibly good for you, too – and not just because they are low in calories. Mangoes contain lots of vitamin A, meaning that eating them could boost eye health, and they also contain flavonoids, which are anti-oxidants that have the potential to fight cancer.
They are also packed with dietary fibre, which will help to improve bowel health by improving digestion. Dietary fibre also boosts weight loss, because your body cannot digest it – so it will fill you up, but because you have to expel it, you don’t take in many calories from it.

  • 2 tbsp Vanilla Healthy Mummy Smoothie Powder
  • 1/4 cup frozen mango
  • 1 x passion fruit
  • 1 tbsp Greek Yoghurt 
  • A few ice cubes
  • 200ml low fat milk (we use unsweetened Almond Milk)

Blend for 2-3 minutes then enjoy

Why have a smoothie for breakfast?

Our research shows that over 50% of mums skip breakfast due to being too tired to make it or not having enough time to make it.
Needless to say this reeks havoc with the metabolism, health and weight loss of mums all over the country and if mums found just 2 minutes to make a smoothie for breakfast they would feel healthier, have more energy and find weight loss a lot easier!
