Picking a name for your little one is usually tough and it is always good inspiration to look at baby name lists to help you decide.
And just released from Babycentre.com is the Top 100 Names list of 2012 and we have compiled the list below for you so you can see the top 100 girls names – and you can see the top 100 boys names here too.
In the girls stakes, Sophia is back in the top spot once more – a slight variation of the name Sophie that held the number one spot for a number of years.
Mia has found her way into the top ten, holding the number 9 spot. Short and sweet names are firmly back in favour, with Ava, Lily, Zoe, Chloe and Mia all sitting happily in the top 10. Abigail slid out of the top ten for the first time in a number of years, sliding back down to number 14.
As for the boys, the J’s are back at the top with the names Jack, Jackson, Jacob and Jayden all sharing space in the top 10. Aiden has claimed the number one spot this year, while Ethan is sitting happily at number 3, up 4 places from last year’s number 7 spot.
