I am so glad and grateful I found Lose Baby Weight and the 28 Day Challenges.
I knew I needed to lose weight but needed some help, especially because we were getting married in 9 months and I didn’t want to look the way I did in our photos.
My life has changed so much in the last 14 months. I lost 46kgs in 11 months and I have been maintains my weight since.

When I first signed up for Lose Baby Weight in Mid August 2014 I wanted to get into the swing of things before the September 28 Day Challenge started so I ordered some The Healthy Mummy Smoothie tubs and made a conscious effort to eat less and more regularly.
I tried some of the free recipes on the website which were so great. The Cheesy Chicken Meatloaf is still a family favourite.
Also tried some of the different smoothie recipes as well, I was surprised how filling and delicious the smoothies are and still enjoy them now.
Once the September Challenge started I was feeling less tired and bloated so I started exercising.
Exercise has never been a love of mine so I started off slow.
Firstly the Challenge Exercises and walking 5km 2-3 times a week on my treadmill. Then as I lost weight and gained fitness I increased my fitness I started using the Healthy Mummy Post Pregnancy DVD and I started C25K on my treadmill.
After finishing the programme I was able to run 5k on my treadmill, it was a huge achievement for me.
Fast forward 14 months and now I can run 10kms outside which I am looking to increase, I train and compete in Dragon Boat racing, do strength and weights sessions.

Exercise isn’t just for losing weight, it helps with toning, also mentally I feel better after a workout and it gives me energy to get on with the day. I never thought I would be a person that loves to exercise but I am!
Another big change is I am so much more organised with meals, snacks and shopping for our family.
Before the 28 Day Challenges regularly after a busy day I wouldn’t be organised and we would have takeaway.
Now I customise the meal plan on Sunday night and do our shopping online for collection Monday morning.
It saves time running around the supermarket and it also stops junk food sneaking in the trolley. I write up the meal plan and stick it to the fridge so I know exactly what we are having each day, it makes life so much easier.
