Need a quick sweet fix? Then try Tasheena’s quick Sticky Date Microwave Cake at 345 calories.


  • 3 medjool dates
  • 4-5tbsp water
  • 2tbsp almond meal
  • 1.5tbsp cacao
  • 1/2tbsp coconut oil
  • 3tbsp skim milk
  • 1/2tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/2tbsp dark choc chips for topping


  • Break up 3 medjool dates (remove seeds) and place in a microwave proof dish or ramekin and cover dates with water and microwave for 1-1.5mins until water is evaporated and dates are soft.
  • Mix in dry and wet ingredients (expect dark choc chips) and while mixing break up the dates into the mix while stirring.
  • Microwave for 1-1.5mins and place dark choc chips on top and let melt for icing and let cool before eating.
  • 345 calories
