Tara Robertson loses an amazing 7kgs with Lose Baby Weight and becomes a Motivating Mum for February.

Hi! my name is Tara and I am one of the Motivating Mums for February.  I am a tiny 152 cm tall. I am a mum to an 8 year old boy, and a 4 year old girl.

In October something came up in my feed, it was an add for Lose Baby Weight, I ignored it and though Oh Gee nothing works must be another fad. A couple of days later it popped up again, so I thought I would check the website…. next thing I knew I had joined for the November 2014 28 Day Challenge and I was excited.

When the meal plans came through and I saw how I could customize the days to suit what I was doing or even what I wanted to eat I was very optimistic,  the next thing I knew there was a week left in November and I felt amazing, I wasn’t starving myself or sneaking in the fridge and binge eating.

I actually looked forward to each meal instead of being sad that I couldn’t have hot chips or coke. It’s now The end of January and as of this morning I have lost a total of 7kg!

January has been such a trying month for me, we had just started to plan our wedding, when we discovered my partners mother had passed away. She wasn’t sick. It was a complete shock. I was so close to her so this affected me greatly.

But what did surprise me is for the first time I didn’t turn to my fridge for comfort. Yes I had a few off the track days as friends came around to keep us distracted and cooked us dinner, but I never gained back a kilo.

Every time I tried a diet and FAILED I would gain a few kilos. Not this time I feel stronger than ever. I feel like something in my brained has clicked. Lose Baby Weight and all you guys are my new best friends.

No matter what amount of weight we have to lose we are all in the same boat and are working to the same goal, to be fit, healthy and happy Mummas.

I have the funeral on Feb 6th so that will be a very trying for me. I am confident I will get through this, just as I am confident ANYONE can get through this. I have a mini goal of getting into the 80’s by the end of February. And aim for walking at least 3 times a week.
