Sarah’s Update
So it has been two weeks since I signed on to becoming a motivating mum for October. The weight loss over the past two weeks have really surprised me!
I currently weigh between 56.8kgs and 57.1kgs (depending on the time of day of course) which means I have lost around 1kg this week and 17kg on the Lose Baby Weight plans. I was at the last few kgs to lose and I know they are usually difficult to shift but I have been lucky enough that I am chipping way at those numbers on the scales.
I have stepped up my training over the last few weeks, upping my reps of the exercises in the 28 day diet and exercise plan and increasing cardio by including zumba into my daily routine.
Even though I have reached my goal weight, it motivates me to keep going with the fitness side and to keep toning up. It is just so exciting to keep seeing results and I had so many compliments on my weight loss at my wedding dress fitting last weekend. The dress had to be taken in a fair bit woo hoo!
The whole family has been loving the meals out of the plan and I am happy to report my body is used to smaller portion size, which has always been a challenge for me. I have also been stepping out of my little box and trying lots of new recipes for the yummy healthy mummy smoothies and I am sooo thankful I have. The variety is amazing and they are all so delish, I always flick through the lose baby weight recipe books for a new healthy mummy smoothie which helps with whatever craving I have that day (it’s usually chocolate!). One of my absolute favourites is the lemon cheesecake smoothie.
I have allowed myself to have a cheat snack about once or twice a week but after making the chocolate fudge and chickpea cookies, I don’t really feel deprived of any yummy food.
Ok so my measurements at the start of last week and what they are currently:
- Thighs – 52.5cms Currently 51.5cms
- Hips – 89cms Currently 88cms
- Waist – 73cms Currently 71.5cms
- Bust – 91cms Currently 89cms
- Weight – 57.5 Currently 56.8 to 57.1kgs – total weight loss 17kg
