Lactation Cookies Recipes

Lactation cookies are cookies that can help to boost your milk supply – they contain brewer’s yeast and oats, and the extra bonus is, they don’t really taste like a bland and boring biscuit.
Oats provide lots of nutrients and minerals which are known to boost milk supply – and a bowl of oatmeal is known to be relaxing, which will produce oxytocin, a key hormone for lactation.
Brewer’s yeast (get from a health food shop)is also commonly used to improve lactation, possibly because of the vitamin B it contains.
Lose Baby Weight have created 5 recipes for you to try below and you can see the calories in each one so you can have the cookies as part of your weight loss plan – just make sure to exercise portion control!
Plus in combination with the Healthy Mummy Smoothies and the ingredients that help support milk supply in the smoothies these cookies should work well at supporting your milk supply
