My name is Rachael and I have lost 14kg on the Lose Baby Weight plans – this is my weight loss story
In my hospital bag I had my pre pregnancy size clothes of size 8’s and 10’s despite putting on 32kgs and getting up to 98kgs.
I was convinced that once I had my precious bundle that it would all melt off and I’d be leaving looking as good as new. My mum and nan both told me they walked out of hospital in size 8 pants and I thought well surely I will too.
However this was not the case, at my sons 2 week check up I asked if I could use the doctors scales as at that stage I didn’t own any, I was shocked that I still weighed 84kgs which was 18kgs away from my pre pregnancy weight.

I was just so mesmerised by my beautiful son that I really felt like I didn’t care and that it would have to start budging at some stage.

28_day_challengeSummer came and lots of photos were being taken and whenever I looked back at them I quickly deleted them as I just couldn’t recognise myself in them and was embarrassed at how big I was.
By January I tried being vegan as well as lite and easy and both played havoc with my milk supply without getting any results… Again I gave up.

I met a lovely girl named Laura Flanagan who had started the Lose Baby Weight plans in January  and I kept seeing her progress shots on my newsfeed and this intrigued me, I asked her what she was following to get such amazing results. I finally got the courage to order the 28 Day Plan book and Healthy mummy smoothie mix in late April 2014 (still weighing 81kg)
I started and was so pleased at how delicious the meals were and that my fussy husband was enjoying the meals too. Pretty quickly I saw the scales budging and was stocked when I got back into the 70’s
It hasn’t been a quick over night fix however from late April to end of August I went from 81kgs to 67.3 kgs and have never been happier.
I’m still a few kgs away from where I want to be but it’s so close now and following this plan will allow me to reach my goal.
When people comment on how great I’m looking and I tell them about lbw they automatically think it’s meal replacements as it just sounds too good to be true.
I quickly tell them I get to eat 6 times a day and haven’t cut any food groups out of my diet and that it’s just about re educating yourself about what healthy eating is about.
