Coconut water is a natural electrolyte replacer. After a gruelling workout it will help replace minerals such as sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium and glucose.
Kale is high in protein aiding in muscle recovery. Bananas are great for muscle recovery as they are a great source of carbohydrate and potassium. They help to strengthen the muscle to recover enough to be able to go and have a workout the following day!
Chia and almond butter are good fats which help to slow down digestion. Meaning you will absorb more nutrients and have a better overall recovery.
- 2 x tbsp of Vanilla Healthy Mummy Smoothie mix
- 1/2 cup of kale
- 1/4 banana
- 1/4 cup blueberries
- 1 tsp almond butter
- 1 tsp chia or flax
- 200ml coconut water
1.Blend all ingredients together in a high speed blender. Enjoy
