Hi Lose Baby Weight, I’ve only been using the Healthy Mummy Smoothies for a couple of days but I absolutely love them!
They taste delicious and actually do fill you up. Like everyone else says, they are so quick to make and my milk supply has improved and I love how they are breastfeeding safe.
Anyhow, I just came up with a new recipe and thought I would send it in for others to try before I forget it!
I call it a Pineapple & Mint Smoothie but I think Lychees would work just as well.
Pineapple & Mint Smoothie
- 250 mls of milk of your choice
- A few ice cubes
- 30g (2Tbsp) of Health Mummy Smoothie Vanilla
- Pineapple – preferably fresh but I only had tinned and used 3 rings
- Mint to taste – I literally just pulled a strand of vientamese mint out of our back garden (ok – I’m scraping the bottom of the barrel today…I’ll get the groceries tomorrow when I’ve had more sleep…hopefully!)
Blend, pour into a glass and enjoy. If you shut your eyes, you can almost imagine being on a beach on holidays!
Note – I haven’t tried it, but I think Lychees would work really well too.
Hope others enjoy the recipe. I’ve attached a photo but can’t co-ordinate myself to get a photo of me in it…that and I have baby vomit on my shirt so it wouldn’t make the best picture). Ah, the joys of motherhood! Better go and get changed now.
