Who doesn’t love a good chocolate mousse? And this sweet, zesty recipe – with only 4 ingredients – is easy to make, easy on your wallet and it’s healthy too!
The secret ingredient? Avocado! But with the decadent chocolatey flavours of this delightful mouse no one will ever guess it’s good for you.
Ingredients (Makes 1 serve)
- 1/3 avocado (50 grams)
- 2 teaspoons cacao/cocoa powder (4 grams)
- 1/2 orange (50 grams)
- 1 medjool dates, fresh (15 grams)
Method
- Peel orange.
- Blend orange with the avocado, cacao and pitted date(s) until smooth.
- Serve immediately or chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
