Hi I’m Nikola and I’ll be one of the Motivating Mums for November. I’ve lost 8.9kg since August and have been doing the 28 Day Challenges and smoothies since then.
I’m really looking forward to motivating you all and motivating myself even more too. I have been so inspired and motivated by other Mums on Lose Baby Weight so now I feel honoured to have been chosen as someone to help motivate you!
I’m a single mum to my 3 year old twins Braxton and Harrison. You’ve probably seen a picture or two of them floating round. They are a huge support of mine and one of my biggest motivators.

I’m changing my lifestyle for myself and so I can be a better mum to them, I want to join in with them, not sit on the sidelines and watch.
I signed up with Lose Baby Weight in November 2014 and signed on to the 28 Day Challenge straight away and purchased the Healthy Mummy smoothies too.
I loved how easy the recipes were to follow, that my weekly menu was planned, my shopping list provided and all I had to do was shop and cook. I did really well on my first challenge I lost 5.2kgs.
I was shocked I was eating yummy food that you wouldn’t expect to be healthy and I was dropping weight. I was doing the exercises provided through the challenge as well as walking 3km a day to start off with.
I was going great guns until life threw a curve ball at me which resulted in separating from my ex. I stayed with the challenges each month but I just yo-yoed with them lose 5kg, put back on 5kg lose 5kg put back on, you get my drift.

My head just wasn’t in the right frame of mind to give it my all I was emotionally and mentally struggling with my separation and adjusting to being a single parent!
After some time out and private counselling for myself I was happy again and ready to give Lose Baby Weight my absolute all and that’s what I’ve been doing!
With a happy new positive and motivating attitude I decided the August 28 day Challenge was going to be the start of a new me and healthy lifestyle. I was ready to give my all 110%.
During the August Challenge I lost 4.6kgs, I was so happy. I was being strict and following the menu plans, doing the daily exercises, meal planning and prepping as much as I could which I truly believe is the key to sticking with it and staying in a routine.
I became very involved on the private Facebook group, posting regularly as a way to motivate myself and keep myself accountable and support I received from everyone was overwhelming but in a positive way, I couldn’t believe how supportive such a large group of women could be.
I also signed up with a personal trainer as I felt I just needed that extra push and drive. It can be very easy to slack off when you’re on your own and there’s no one you’re accountable to except yourself.
It was so tough and the start but the way I fell now I’m so much stronger and fitter and feel amazing.

I continued on with the next 28 Challenge and also purchased the Lose Baby Weight dvd. I love that the dvd is so quick and easy to put on and that its broken up into 15 minute sections.
One of the things I most love about the 28 Day Challenges is that I’m now eating such a wider variety of meals and I’ve opened up my tastebuds to things I would never have eaten before.
The meals are all so family friendly and my boys love the food too, which is a bonus for me as I only have to cook once, and I know they are eating healthy nutritious meals.
I’m now about to start my fourth 28 Day Challenge and I’m really excited for it being themed speed cooking. That means less time in the kitchen and more time to exercise and play with my boys.
