My name is Tracey and I am a 30yr old mum of 5 kids aged 12-3 and I have lost 13.6kgs* with Lose Baby Weight.
My whole life I have struggled with my weight and once I had kids it was even more of a struggle after I gained more and more weight after each child.

In Nov 2012, after I had my 5th baby I had decided to have Lab band surgery, hoping it would help me shift the weight. I was SO WRONG!
It made my lifestyle so much worse!! I was no longer able to eat meats unless it was mince, no fruits unless it was soft much and no vegetables unless they were well cooked and mushy. BUT I could eat as much chocolate, Ice Cream and soft drink as I wanted so that’s what I ate most as it was easy to consume. This was not the way to live and I knew I had to change.
I had come across “The Healthy Mummy” page a few times but I was a sceptic when I seen all the success stories and thought they were too good to be true and that It would be “to hard” to follow.
In December I decided to look into the 28 day challenge and thought “what the heck, I have nothing to lose apart from all this excess weight” so I signed up to start my first challenge on Jan 5th. I also made an appointment with my surgeon and booked in to have my lap band removed on Jan 6th so I started the challenge on Jan 7th.

On December 31st 2014 I had decided to skydive to leave the old me behind in the sky last year ready to take off on a new foot and new lifestyle following the healthy Mummy in Jan.
That day I was embarrassed to stand on the scales in front of everyone in the Skydive Office to see 96.3Kg’s flash up on the screen.
On January 7th, the first day of my new Healthy Mummy lifestyle I was excited for all the meals, I wanted to try everything in a day. But I knew this wasn’t the way to go. I stuck by my meal plan and was so surprised at how much food I could actually eat.
Some days I struggled to eat enough calories but I knew that I had to keep my calories up to my BMR. After 3 days of challenge exercise my body was aching, but it was a good ache. I was feeling great!
After the first week I had lost 1.4kg. This was amazing. I could not believe the scales. When I went back to the surgeon for my post op I was his first ever patient to lose weight after having the lap band removed!!!!!
Once I had completed the Jan challenge I was hooked, I have kept my membership and followed all the challenges since.
All of the meals in the 28 day challenge are so easy to follow and family friendly. My family love the Lose Baby Weight food just as much as I do, which makes it so easy to stick to the healthy eating meal plan.

When I take my kids out now instead of just sitting on the bench watching them all run around and play together I can now run around and have fun with them. The Healthy Mummy program has given me back my life!  It has helped me find my happy again.
When I stepped on the scales at the end of the Sept challenge and seen 79.7kg pop up on the screen I cried, but unlike in December 2014, these tears where happy tears.  The last time the scales read in the 70’s for me was when I was 17.
I cannot wait for the October Challenge to start and to kick butt. I’m still carrying excess weight, but I know that with all I have learnt and all the yummy recipes from Lose Baby Weight that I will be at my goal in no time.
I am so thankful to all the team at Lose Baby Weight for giving me the opportunity to be one of the motivating mums for October and cannot wait to see everyone’s results along the way.
