Sharon and Courtney are a Mum and Daughter team who will be motivating you all during February!
Sharon
My name is Sharon and I am one of the Feb Friendzy motivating mums. I have 3 children, my youngest “baby” being my 23 year old daughter and Feb Friend Courtney. I also have two adorable granddaughters aged 3 years and 7 months. I am very thankful to Lose Baby Weight that I am now a fitter, healthier grandmother and have heaps more energy to keep up with my grandchildren.
I am 55 years old so I am representing the older mums who have carried their baby weight for a long time. I am grateful to Courtney for introducing me to Lose Baby Weight and I began my journey on 1 July 2014.
I am 168 cm tall and my starting weight was 84.4 kg. My initial goal was to reach 70 kg. I reached that goal by December 2015 and decided I would like to lose a further 5 kg.
By January 2015 I had reached 68.2 kg (16.2 kg loss) but there my weight loss stalled. However I continued with my new healthy lifestyle and have been maintaining my weight at around 69 kg for the last year. Becoming a Feb Friendzy mum has given me the motivation to step up and lose the last few kilos.
I use the free tools and recipes on the website and Courtney shares her favourite challenge meals with me. I love the recipes and have found this be a lifestyle not a diet and it has been easy to maintain my weight loss. I also love reading the many success stories in the Facebook group and these are a huge motivation to me and I have gained so much knowledge from the other members.

My bad eating habits over the years included never eating breakfast and sometimes lunch and overeating throughout the evening as well as a love of all things sweet particularly chocolate.
Lose Baby Weight has taught me that I can eat six times a day and still lose weight while eating a lot of delicious food.
I’m still not a fan of “eating” breakfast but I now enjoy “drinking” a smoothie every morning. LBW has certainly shown me that healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring.
I’ve learnt a lot about healthy food substitutes and have many “go to” recipes when I need a sweet treat fix. I always now have a supply of healthy homemade meals and snacks in the freezer for those busy days.
My exercise is mostly walking and I have a step goal of 70,000 a week. I participate in FitBit challenges which are a great motivation to get the step count up. I have a full time desk job so weekdays Courtney and I are often out walking in the evenings or I do a YouTube 1 mile walk. We also often do the LBW DVD together and we are going to start going to aquarobics. I am really fortunate to have my exercise buddy/daughter living nearby.
Many years ago as a teenager I broke my femur and prior to starting my LBW journey my leg was beginning to stiffen up and ache. I am really happy to say that that has all disappeared since losing the weight and stepping up the exercise.
I am looking forward to being a Feb Friendzy motivating mum and particularly to motivating any older mums like myself as I know that weight loss can be harder as we age but I know it is definitely possible.
Courtney
My name is Courtney and I am one of your motivating mums for FebFriendzy. I am a 23 year old, recently engaged mother of 2 beautiful girls that keep me very busy.
I first came across Lose Baby Weight in May 2014 when my Daughter was 1 and a half years old. I was searching the web for quick fix weight loss when I stumbled across the free 5 week challenge so thought I would give it a go, not expecting to actually have any results.
I did lose weight and I enjoyed it so I convinced my mum (and Feb Friendzy buddy) to join in the July challenge with me.
I started on July 1st at 94kgs. In September 2014 I fell pregnant at 88kgs. I was determined to make this a healthy pregnancy. In June 2015, 13 days overdue, I was 99kgs. I was also blessed with a beautiful 9lb 5oz baby girl.
6 weeks postpartum I was already 85kgs and feeling great! She is now 7 months old and I am still breast feeding. I am not trying to lose weight at the moment I am just focusing on eating a healthy diet.
8 years ago my brother and I had a serious car accident which left me with a badly broken talus which is the bone in your ankle that connects your foot to your leg.
I have since had 3 operations on it. I have very minimal movement and recently found out I have arthritis. I may still have to have a fusion if the pain gets too bad. It definitely slows me down and makes things harder but two years ago it would have been an excuse as to why I was fat. Now the only thing it stops me doing is squats.
Life is busy with two kids but the Lose Baby Weight plans are so easy and there are so many recipes to suits every ones tastes. Even ones to satisfy your sweet tooth!
I never thought I could lose weight, get fit and healthy and feel this amazing eating so much food! It is always our perception that we need to eat less than 1200 calories to lose weight. I can definitely say I am happily maintaining my weight eating 2200 calories. This is great for me because I love food.
No more dieting because this is my life now.
I am still far from where I want to be but I know that when I’m ready, with Lose Baby Weight I can do it.
Sharon & Courtney xx

Annette Lost 20kgs* with the 28 Day Challenge
Annette says: “The 28 Day Challenges have completely changed how I think about food and exercise. I am so much more aware of what I’m putting in my mouth each meal, rather than just mindlessly eating whatever was available or ‘easy’.
A year ago I’m pretty sure I could’ve bought shares in KanTong. Today I’d much rather whip up the healthy Lose Baby Weight Butter Chicken from scratch for myself and my family.
The beauty of the Challenges is that everything is there, right at your fingertips, for you to be successful. Customisable meal plans, shopping lists, hundreds of recipes with new ones being added all the time, tracking tools, the list goes on.
The simplicity of being prepared each week is what has consistently kept me on track.”
