Motivating Mum of 3 Sally Clarke has lost an amazing 5kgs with Lose Baby Weight and is ready to take on the 28 Day Challenge!
Hi, my name is Sally,
I’m a 33 year old single mum with 3 kids – an 8yo, a 5yo and a 3yo.  I’m engaged and getting married to the love of my life in April of 2015.
The birth of my 3rd baby was very traumatic – I ended up with pneumonia and a blood clot in one of my lungs.  Because of the medication I was on I couldn’t breast feed, and she was a very unsettled baby.  I developed severe post-natal depression.  My first marriage broke down over this time.
I knew I had gained 15kg since conceiving my baby, but over more recent months I felt bigger and bigger, feeling and looking like I was pregnant again.
I’m a naturally small person, I’m only 160cm tall and fairly small boned, but my tummy, hips and boobs were getting enormous.  I was constantly asked by strangers “when’s your next one due?”  I was embarrassed to go out in public, and the last straw was seeing some photos of myself at a friend’s barbecue – I looked huge – that’s when I decided something had to change.
I found Lose Baby Weight after seeing that some of my friends had liked it on Facebook.  I looked straight on the website and could see just from looking at it that the program was “mummy friendly” and would suit a busy, working, single mum like me.  Before this losing weight has always fallen into the ‘too-hard basket’ because of everything else I need to do; but by using the 28 Day Plan Book and the Healthy Mummy Smoothies, I have lost 5kg in 2 months, which is halfway to my goal weight!
And, more importantly, I don’t look pregnant any more!
Since following the program I have also noticed that I don’t have abdominal pain anymore, and my bowel habit has improved heaps too (too much information maybe….!)  My skin is clearer and I feel happier knowing what I am putting into my body is healthy.
I have never been an exercise fanatic, but since starting Lose Baby Weight I have been trying to walk every day – either by walking the dog on my days off or by walking in my lunch break at work.  The last couple of weeks I have also being doing sections from the Healthy Mummy Post Pregnancy Exercise DVD – particularly the tummy toning section, as this is my problem area.
I’m really excited about the November 28 day challenge, looking forward to lots of new recipes and exercises.  I’ve even convinced my hubby-to-be to do the exercises with me!
The Lose Baby Weight program really is easy to use, and suits a busy family because the meals are so quick to prepare.  My kids are good with food and have just gone along with most of the meals – the only modifications I have needed to make are to reduce the chilli in some of their meals.  But otherwise as a whole family we’re loving the Lose Baby Weight program!
I’m looking forward to being a Motivating Mum for you all for the month – I know that if I can do it while working, looking after kids, organizing a wedding and dealing with a mental illness, then you can too!  Lose Baby Weight is great and I’d recommend it to anyone – no matter how much weight you want to lose!
